Duplicate subsequence in Smartlead

This automation duplicates your subsequence or campaign to a different subsequence or campaign for easy replication.

This automation has 1 component.
1. Duplicating your Subsequence/Campaign to a different Subsequence/Campaign.

Watch the video below before downloading the blueprint as this is a small part of a bigger automation. This works for Clickup but you can modify it to work for any database you want.
Pre-requisite: you need to have the Campaign backups & restore automation.

Manual Changes

Smartlead API key

Find it here and replace {API_KEY} with your smart lead API key

Smartlead API-1

Setup Details

  • You will need a "source" subsequence... This subsequence will be manually created within Smartlead and it should contain all of the emails, custom fields, variations, etc.
  • You will create a new subsequence (draft) similar to how I did it within the video.
  • You will copy the "subsequence ID" and paste it into Clickup, as displayed in the video. Alternatively, there are many other ways you can accomplish the same thing.
This is not a COPY/PASTE solution... If you're confused, please share your tech stack and feedback on this page. I'll gladly simplify this automation and notify you accordingly.

To avoid changing campaigns by mistake, there's a filter that checks the campaign name to see whether it contains "Get". Therefore, the target Subsequence/Campaign should always contain this word (upon a duplication request) otherwise it won't be duplicated (watch the video at 2:33).

I recommend choosing an "immediate" occurrence for this automation
