Create tasks for calendar events
by Noel Maniraguha on October, 2024
This automation sends a Slack notification when a calendar event isn't accepted and creates a HubSpot task reminding you to call or email the lead.
This automation has 2 components.
1. Sending a Slack notification when a Calendar event is NOT "accepted"
2. Creating a Hubspot task that informs you to call/email the lead
If you don't use Google Calendar, switch the first module out with your Calendar app.

Manual Changes
Google Calendar
This automation by default, checks for events within 1 day of running.
Feel free to change the start and end date to whatever sequence you see fit. I recommend 1-5 days for the end-date
Slack
Change the channel location to your desired notification channel
And modify the message to include whichever variables that you want
HubSpot
This creates a HubSpot task with the custom variables that you want
You should add your desired due dates, status, and whichever custom fields you want
Set a schedule
I recommend choosing a "daily" occurrence for this automation
