This automation notifies your agency and clients about category changes, typically triggered when a lead replies, ensuring seamless communication updates.
Notification for replies (simple)
This automation has 2 components.
1. Notifying YOUR AGENCY about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).
2. Notifying YOUR CLIENTS about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).
If you NEED analytics, you should use the (client comms) version.
If you DON'T need client notifications or analytics, you should use the (simplest) version.
Notification for replies (client comms)
This automation has 3 components.
1. Notifying YOUR AGENCY about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).
2. Notifying YOUR CLIENTS about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).
3. Logging all engaged leads in a sheet document: make a copy of the sheet file here.
If you DON'T need analytics, you should use the (simple) version.
Pre-requisite: you need to have the Smartlead client database automation for this to work.
Notification for replies (simplest)
This automation has 1 component.
1. Notifying YOU about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).
If you NEED analytics, you should use the (client comms) version.
If you NEED to notify clients but DON'T need analytics, you should use the (simple) version.

Manual Changes
Smartlead Webhook Creation
Find it here and add a new webhook with the following settings:
Event Type: LEAD_CATEGORY_UPDATED
Choose any category (positive categories recommended)
Slack Incoming Webhook
Create one here and replace {SLACK_INCOMING_WEBHOOK} with your webhook URL
Why not use the built-in Slack integration? It won't notify you if you're the one posting the message.
Google Sheets Connection
If you make a copy of the Gsheets document and then make changes to the title or sheet name, you may get an error. To avoid this: ensure that the "Spreadsheet ID" and "Sheet Name" are spelled correctly.
IMPORTANT: If you get a "Runtime error" - check the spelling as described above!
