This automation notifies both your agency and clients about category changes, typically triggered when a lead replies, ensuring everyone stays updated in real-time.

This automation has 3 components.  
1. Notifying YOUR AGENCY about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).  
2. Notifying YOUR CLIENTS about category changes (which usually occur when a lead replies).  
3. Logging **NEW** engaged leads in **Clickup**. This will help you build a dashboard like the one below.

**Pre-requisite:** you need to set up the [Clickup Agency Workspace](https://afonto.com/automations/clickup-agency-workspace) for this to work.

### Smartlead Webhook Creation

Find it [here](https://app.smartlead.ai/app/settings/webhook) and add the webhook with the following settings:

 

**Event Type:** LEAD\_CATEGORY\_UPDATE

Choose any category (positive categories recommended)

You only need to create this once (you can use it for other automations) - below is what it looks like.

Replace {SLACK\_INCOMING\_WEBHOOK} with your webhook URL

Why not use the built-in Slack integration? It won't notify you if your the one posting the message.
