Auto-setup Domains In Smartlead

Use this automation to speed up your onboarding process by automatically setting up domains within your Smartlead Account.

This automation has 1 component.
1. Automatically set up domains within your Smartlead Account

Disclaimer: Unlike many automations on this page, this one serves as a "learning opportunity" rather than a copy/paste solution. If you set this up, it is highly recommended that you watch the video below.

Manual Changes

Undocumented Smartlead API

Smartlead doesn't have these APIs on their docs, so we'll need to use a workaround. Login by using your username and password.

Define and Integrate with your onboarding process (advanced)

How do you determine which domain to input? You can use a formula or AI to determine the top 10 domains that work based on your client's name/domain. Then you can use a repeater prior to this module that keeps running until a valid domain is found (valid = Smartlead suggestions are there)

Choose the number of domains to purchase

Change the filter to reflect the number of domains you want to purchase (instructions in video). If you want to reduce the number of operations used, you can use an array function formula within the iterator, then you can delete the increment function.

Next Steps (advanced)

You can complete this automation by leveraging the knowledge you gained from watching the video. I will update this page to reflect the latest improvements when I eventually set it up myself. If this is too complex, no worries - check out the other Copy/Paste automations here.

Set a schedule

I recommend choosing an "immediate" schedule. But more importantly, this should be added to your onboarding automation which likely uses an "immediate" schedule.
